Dr. Robert Lee Mellon, MD

My husband had shoulder surgery and Dr. Mellon was his anesthesiologist. Dr. Mellon answered all of our questions before surgery and took excellent care of him. No nausea or vomiting after surgery (which has happened to me before with a different anesthesiologist and it is a miserable feeling). Dr. Mellon also did a nerve block on his shoulder so he had less pain after surgery. Everything went very well.

I Highly recommend Dr. Mellon to anyone having a procedure done and in need of an anesthesiologist. I had a knee arthroscopy done that I had been putting off for way too long because I was so nervous about being put to sleep. Dr. Mellon was able to calm my nerves by spending time with me prior to my surgery. He listened to all my questions and concerns not only about the anesthesia but about the surgery as well. I felt very safe with him and will not put off anymore surgeries as long as I can have him as my anesthesiologist again. I recommend him to any friend of mine with an upcoming surgery because I know they will be in good hands.

I would like to thank Dr. Mellon for the outstanding care my husband and I and both received during our total knee replacement surgeries. He was not only professional and thorough, he made it clear that our safety was his primary goal. His kindness was evidence before our surgeries, as well as during follow-up care.
