Dr. Robert Benedict Meyerowitz

Holly, Good Job posting your name, with high Intentions the DR see's your 5 star prestigious "Team Meyerowitz office" review. Oh BTW your last name's Initial was a good bonus at the end of your name as if there is more then one 'HOLLY' he currently treat's. Very common name. Hehe. Yup DR is Brutally honest but not quite sure why the owner of a Pharmacy up the block as he clearly said in review (yes must be the one in the weird spot in the back of the big parking lot few blocks down) cares about DR M's honesty but whatever. He never said he was a patient here unless you know something we do not please, do tell? My Review: The DR is okay. He is very Blunt and kind of Blah. Each month i tell him my symptoms and how I'm felling. medications choices or other options are simply ignored and just never discussed or brought up, You get what he gives you period. There is no option a,b or c offered and if you ask to change something you currently are taking, Its like walking on egg-shells to ask… and it should not be this way at all. You should be comfortable with your doctor to tell the truth if you want to come off a long term medication and try a newer drug for the same FDA approved symptoms (I'm not talking about a off label use drug here). Facts are everyone reacts differently to medicine and sometimes stopping a long term drug for a month to give something new a test drive, is just what the Dr ordered pun intended and works better then the old drug. but as Holly S admits he is very old school but unlike Holly S admits, He is plain old as well and very stuck in his ways because he has been a DR 48 years. Medicine has came a long way in the past 50-100 years or we would all still be given heroin to treat pain management and the use of coca powder to treat weight loss, ADHD and for the Pilot's to keep them awake and focused. Otherwise he is okay just don't catch him on one of his bad days and you will be fine. Janice what more is there to say then what was said a year or two ago when i was not even yet a patient. He should probably put a help wanted add in the weekly circular or Craigslist to find a nice, young, sweet caring, **Hmm whats the word I'm looking for** Trustworthy and Honest (Those words are close enough) EXPERIENCED, People person, Down to Earth, Hardworking, Clean n sober and NON CONTROLLING employee to run shop and hold the fort down. Believe me there are PLENTY of amazing people out there in these hard times. Someone who will actually take some pride in there work and be the middle man between a extremely busy Doctor as most are and Us patient's. Someone who will fell good squeezing in a sick or emergency need patient at the last minute or night before, and be happy and more then willing to move a few things around if necessary to get that person in and out fast without sitting around for days or in the office for hours, Someone you can thank who did it to help you, not did it with there hand out fishing around for a TIP. I do not know what attachment he has with Janice but If i had to guess it would be either Girlfriend or Relative, No one else would last this long. I cringe when she is there for my appointments. Cringe! I happen to know a little more then the average patient you can say growing up in the Hicksville area.

Dr. Meyerowitz is very knowledgable doesn't rush you in and out like other drs do. He's old school takes his time and you can be honest with him and he never judges you. Janice is receptionist is very nice. I don't know what these other people are talking about but with over 48 yrs of experience the dr knows what he's doing. He's far from a pill pusher and if you don't like him there are plenty of drs out there. From my personal experience (I am a patient of his) I give him and his staff the upmost respect and 5 stars even-though 4 is the max!! Dr. Meyerowitz is brutally honest and maybe some people can't handle that.
