Dr. Robert Lawrence Miller, MD

Robert Miller did not provide a good service to us (a couple). He was so money-minded/focused that it strongly negatively affected the delivery of his services. For example, he spent the first half of more than two sessions talking about his fee structure instead of talking about it mostly outside of his 'service time' of 45 mins. He also strongly pushed diagnoses to make sure they were covered by insurance, even if they did not always seem correct, e.g. "Feel some stress because of an argument with your partner? Your relationship is definitely leading to anxiety!"-type diagnoses but just for when we were filling the forms. He also would not see us over the weekend except if we paid for two sessions (cash preferred). It would have been ok if he was so pushy and money-minded if he had been even remotely helpful and effective. He really should re-think his priorities. Finally, given how money-focused he is, you'd think he would deliver on his service with equal professionalism. Instead,… he was often late by up to 10-15mins, but would still charge you for the usual 45min.
