Dr. Robert Drew Milne, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Milne's for twenty-five years. While some of his methods are non-traditional I have found them effective, even for serious illness's. The negative comments I have found here are either outright lies or a misunderstanding of unfamiliar testing protocols. I would urge all those looking for true long term healing to pay a visit. I've never taken time to rate a Dr before - but in this case I felt it was absolutely mandatory that I warn others of the experience I had. I wish I'd read reviews online prior to meeting with Dr Robet Milne! My daughter who is 16 yo is critically ill and i've been to several medical doctors to find answers. I was desperate for help. I found out the visit cost was $395 cash and I'm a single working mother - that is a lot for me - BUT my daughter's health is worth it. We met with Dr Milne who is very abrasive and intimidating. He spent the first 30 minutes talking about his daughter and his own personal life experiences and used the "Strength Test" method on my daughter to determine what she was allergic to or what supplements her body needed. I went along with the recommendations and he also requested a stool test. At the end of the 1st visit I was charged $595!!! PLUS $330 for stool test… PLUS $35 for his "BOOK" PLUS $122 for supplements. YES $882! Not covered by… insurance!!!! YES you can imagine my shock! I was told the visit was extra long and that is why I was charged so much! Why was I charged for Dr. Milne telling Stories!!!???? So nearly $1,000 out of pocket on a visit. So Sad! NEXT - I was told the office received the stool test results and he wanted to discuss it. So I had to schedule another appointment. I was told she needed more supplements and was charged $325 for office visit and was asked to pay $300 for supplements. When I told them I couldn't afford all the recommended vitamins, I had to "PICK THE ONES" i thought were important. I then paid $173 for supplements. These were vitamins and mineral/enzymes. So another $500 Out of pocket!! Made me so upset to left the office feeling like I had just hustled! He's in control of the report, so I had to pay to get it! After all that - I went back to the office and asked for copies of my reports and I also asked 2 questions. Should I put my daughter on Protein supplements (she'd lost 30 lbs in 4 months and wasting away) and should I get her on something for her constipation. I was told that if I wanted to ask a question, I'd have to schedule a consult with Dr Milne and it would cost me $255!!!!! I was shocked and asked why they would charge me for asking questions?? I’d already paid for 2 doctor visits. I was told the Office Manager would call me back the next day to discuss my questions. No ONE ever called me back!! I am so disgusted by that office and will never go back! Typing this up makes my hands shake. His practice is all about the MONEY! Not healing people. He only wants clients with Very Deep pockets and people who love his fluffly talk and chit chat about his person experiences. I know more about his daughter's selection for college than I know how to help my daughter! It was the worse case of money badly spent and it's at a critical time where I needed that money to help her get better. I was totally shafted – AND the supplements she’s been on for a month haven’t helped at all. It is a crime that he continues to be in business and dupes the public as he does. I know it is tough finding answers, and Dr. Robert Milne preys on a patient’s weakness when in need of care.

I am not one to spend the time to review a doctor or anything for that matter, but I wish I had spent the time trying to find out more about Dr. Milne before I went to his office. It isnâ??t important to me to give others information about things that donâ??t really matter and are so typical when dealing with the medical profession, that you almost donâ??t pay attention. So, telling you that the office staff was rude, is just common information. But I am spending the time to tell exactly what happened in my experience with Dr. Milne, so that you donâ??t make the same mistake I did and spend $425 cash to see him in the hope that he will have some insight into you particular issue. Dr. Robert Milne is a man who once earned a degree and now uses that to foolishly guide patients with nonsense. I will tell you what I gained from my experience and let you be the judge as to whether or not you think it is worth $425. His office is in a make-shift medical facility, in a old worn old… home that he converted to his medical office. You park in front of what looks like an old run down house. I wish I took this for a clue, but I was desperate for help. Most people who canâ??t find solutions become desperate for advice, simply because good doctors and solving medical problems can be tough. But I didnâ??t have anyoneâ??s opinion on this doctor, so I agreed to pay up front $430, $395 was for his services and the extra $35 was just tacked on there to pay for his homemade notebook that he gives you and then charges $35 to your bill. He simply could have informative sheets for you to pick up for free, if money wasnâ??t his focus. He spent an hour talking to me about his daughter who was ill and could not find any cures for her illness until he learned of this method for finding out your bodyâ??s weaknesses. It took about a 45 minutes for him to explain his daughterâ??s issues and told a story about how she was on a college bus with other students and felt a very uneasy and ultimately decided to get off the bus because when she used his medical process of screening for illness or anything bad, she began to lean backward, which meant that the bus trip would be a bad experience, so she got off the bus. Later Dr. Milne explained, his daughter found out that there were police on the scene where the bus ended up, a mild incident, but his daughter was definitely happy she used his â??medical methodâ?? of screening for bad things in life. These bad things or negative impacts are typically food, he explained, but you can use it on anything, Dr. Milne explained. As I was listening to him, and watching him shake, I sincerely felt bad for him, and unfortunately, didnâ??t realize that this was the medical care he intended to provide me for meÃ¥. After the long story, he asked me to stand up and hold onto a jar of wheat, dairy powder, lentils and few others and explained to me that if I hold the jar (glass with metal top) in my hand at my chest and put my feet together, I will begin to feel the power of the material in the jar having an affect on my body. So, if I were to learn backward, that would mean that I was intolerant of that food. If I were to learn forward, while holding this jar in front of me, I would not be intolerant of this particular food. He said I should go through my kitchen and make sure I test for everything. That was my medical advice for $395, and of course a homemade notebook for $35 with flyers about various other â??medical treatmentsâ?? that he offers for BIG BUCKS. Of course, when you are ill, and need medical treatment this is the lat thing you need. It is a crime that he continues to be in business and dupes the public as he does. I know it is tough finding answers, and Dr. Robert Milne preys on a patientâ??s weakness when in need of care.

My life was saved from my visit to Dr. Milne. Over 30 yrs ago I was not expected to live. After having a supernatural miracle I got ill again with the same disease. I am now 74 yrs old and still going strong. I was instructed how to maintain my health and I've never had the condition again. Just as he told me would happen. Thank you Dr. Milne for your mentoring me.

He has helped me so much. I had terrible stomach issues for 8 years went to so many doctors who made it worse. Since I have been going to him it has improved so much no more pain. I haven't felt this good in years!! He is easy to talk to and spends time with you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Milne for over 20 years and I would definitely recommend him to other people. He is very good at what he does.

Dr. Milne is an amazing Doctor, probably the best I know, but it seems all his success has gone to his head. I have referred several people to Dr. Milne because I know he will find the problem and the cure, but he is a jerk. My husband and I began seeing him many years ago when he was a brand new doctor. He was kind and humble back then. I think he only cares about money now. As Jacob Marley once said to Scrooge, "PEOPLE are your business!"

I do not recommend Milne Medical Center. In fact "Dr. Bob" Milne, imo a quack, is the most incompetent, uncaring MD I have encountered. His "energy" therapies and "energy devices" are nonsense and have no basis in science. In addition to Milne's worthless therapies, he lacks an understanding of many of the most common conditions patients present with. An incompetent doctor, arrogant and controlling...don't go to him!

Dr Milne was awesome. I have spent $1000s and $1000s on other doctors and haven't got anywhere. Dr Milne helped me so much. He is very intuitive and caring even though he may not come across as caring because of his off-beat sense of humor. I highly recommend him! He figured out my problems very quickly!
