Dr. Robert Minutello is an Interventional Cardiologist specializing in angioplasty and stenting, as well as management of cardiovascular diseases on an outpatient basis. He is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Director of Structural Heart Disease at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital. Dr. Minutello has served as Director of the Interventional Cardiology Training Program at Weill Cornell Medicine for the past 12 years, and is committed to helping train the next generation of cardiologists. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Minutello’s areas of research interest include transcatheter valvular and coronary intervention outcomes. He has worked jointly with the New York State Department of Health in outcomes data analysis utilizing the statewide angioplasty registry. He also had served on Weill Cornell Medicine’s Institutional Review Board as well as the Acute Coronary Syndrome …committee. I must say that Dr. Minutello is by far the greatest Cardiologist I've had the pleasure of meeting. I've had trouble finding a cardiologist that I felt was the right fit for me ever since I moved to New York City a year ago. But like I've told Dr. Minutello after our first appointment, I'm a huge titanic fan and I felt like I have finally found my Jack Dawson. Dr. Minutello is not only a knowledgeable cardiologist but he is charismatic as well as a sincere person. Knowing that he is my cardiologist I now know my heart will go on!

I've been seeing Dr Minutello for the past 3 years and he is the smartest, nicest doctor I have ever met. He is conscientious, genuine and very knowledgeable about all specialties. I'm somewhat of a hypochondriac and have a strong genetic predisposition for heart disease and he will take the time to listen and examine multiple therapeutic options in order to help me. I have never encountered a doctor more devoted to helping patients and advancing Interventional Cardiology. Highly recommended!

Highly capable and ethical physician. Straightforward, and ordered only the tests that I needed and explained his reasoning to me.

Went to see Dr. Minutello regarding some abnormal test results. He was kind, personable and very much interested in selecting the right course of treatment given my symptoms and recent test results. Made me feel very comfortable and confident in his care. I would highly recommend him as a cardiologist to any one in need of good, quality care which is hard to find nowadays!

Referred to him by my GP after I failed my first ever stress test. After he realized I was not a candidate for surgery/procedures, he lost all interest, told me to schedule a nuclear test with his assistant, and rushed me out in 5 minutes. After my nuclear test, where he was not present, he wouldn't even get on the phone to answer my questions since I passed; that's the job of his assistant. He neglected to tell me that, since I failed a stress test, I can never have a standard one again. So I have no idea what diagnostic tests to do the rest of my life.

Soon after a 20 minute investigative procedure, I began receiving bills for payment from Dr. Minutello. I repeatedly called his office and explained I was having trouble with my medical insurance but that it would be straightened out as soon as possible. Soon after, the bill was turned over to a collection agency which has since that time been threatening to sue me unless I pay in full immediately.
