Dr. Robert E Mitchell III, MD

Dr. Mitchell has been my gastroenterologist for the past 25 years. I was diagnosed with colitis in my 20s. He is an outstanding diagnostician, but also takes the time to discuss treatment options, risks, and options that could improve a patient's overall care and quality of life. His practice and everyone associated with it has always put the patients first and you feel cared for as an individual and not just another chart or number.

This was my 1st colonoscopy. Dr. Mitchell was very professional and the entire staff made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mitchell's for over 20 years, treating my colitis. He stands head and shoulder above others in his field. His diagnostic skills, calm manner, and willingness to take all the time necessary to assure that patients are informed and treated well is a breath of fresh air in an industry that has become more about the number of patients that a physician can treat during any given day.

Dr .Mitchell is by far my favorite Doctor.His bedside manner is excellent.He explains everything to you in detail.He has never been in a hurry. Always follows up by phone to check on you. I always recommend him to everyone......the staff is also very caring & helpful.I travel over an hour to go to see him.....

Dr. Mitchell has treated my mother for over a year now. I couldn't be more pleased with him and his staff. When she attended her first appointment the office staff was pleasant and patient. Dr. Mitchell took time to listen and show great concern. After treatment his nurse call in a timly manner with the results. I would highly recommend him.
