Dr. Robert Modugno, MD

I saw Modugno in Sylva, NC for symptoms of post menopause bleeding, performed internal ultrasound, scheduled surgery to see if cancer, cut my ovarian artery and I began to bleed out. Two incisions (1st was wrong) resulted in complete hysterectomy. Then he fraudulently created records for multiple visits and removal of cancerous fibroid which never happened to cover himself. 7 years later I learned of the fraud and internal ultrasound record showed "uterus - normal size" so I never needed surgery, and never had cancer-past the statute of limitations. Is that why he relocates his practice every few years? I've had to wear adult diapers since the surgery and have become reclusive.

The first couple times the doctor seemed fine. But, since I didn't have insurance he treated me like crap. As a woman I'm trying to figure out what was wrong with me, come to find out I had PCOS. You would think because I wanted to start a family and I was willing to pay any amount of money to try to fix it that he would be understanding. That was not the case. The last visit he made me feel horrible, he was of no service or help. Once i left his office I was almost in tears the way he treated me was like nothing. I literally spent 5 mins with him, just for him to dismiss me. i went to a female OBGYN and received actual help to manage my PCOS. I truly believe since I didn't have insurance I got treated like crap. I would never recommend someone to him.
