Dr. Robert C. Munjal, MD

I am very impressed with Dr. Munjal. He is respectable, clear, and educated. He was able to communicate his recommendations and insights in a way that resonated with me. Dr. Munjal was direct and made me reflect on the severity of my decisions and actions. He made valid points that I had never considered. He genuinely cared about my life and my family, and worked hard to help us.

Our son was admitted for severe depression and suicidal ideation under the psychiatric care of Dr. Munjal-- one of two psychiatrists on staff at Providence NBMI. As health care providers with combined experience totaling 70 years, we have encountered many physicians of all specialties and abilities. It is rare to find a provider that not only exhibits clinical excellence; but also possesses an ability to communicate masterfully, be a part of a team, and show genuine care and respect for not only his patient, but also for those that love them. We felt that after many months of hopelessness and despair, our prayers were visibly answered when Dr. Munjal was the admitting physician. The entire staff was amazing and visitation provided a "love note from God" in the form of the committed and caring individuals with whom we interacted. It was clearly evident that they were invested in the wellness of those for whom they cared, and our son's experience-- as well as ours-- was VERY… positive at the most difficult and challenging time in our lives. There are not enough superlatives to express our gratitude-- and it is important to recognize how truly blessed we are to have such an amazing neuro-behavioral unit in Missoula, MT. My hope is that Providence St. Pat's will continue to make mental health care an important priority an honor the dedicated staff that provides that care.
