Dr. Robert Nelson
Dr. Robert was born in Savannah and grew up in Springfield, GA. where he
graduated from Effingham County High School in 1995. He then went to the
University of Georgia in Athens where he earned a BBA in finance in 1999.
He then moved to Augusta, GA. and went to dental school at The Medical
College of Georgia where he earned his Doctorate of Dental medicine in 2003.
Upon graduation, Dr. Robert moved back home to Effingham County and works as
a general dentist in Springfield with his brother Dr. Donald Nelson, Jr. at
Effingham Dental Associates. He enjoys taking care of patients of all ages
in their family dental practice. He is a member of the Savannah Dental
Society, Southeastern District Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association,
and American Dental Association.
Dr. Robert and his wife April reside in Rincon. They are blessed with two
children, Parker and Natalie, twins who were born on December 11th, 2009,
and keep them on the run.
Dr. Robert enjoys traveling, …working out, golfing, hunting, Georgia
football, and spending time with family and friends in his free time. He and
his family are members of Springfield United Methodist Church.
