Dr. Robert Nettleship Brems

I wish I had gone to a different dr but do plan to switch when this eye is healed

I saw this doctor for a minor procedure on my eyelid. He was very short, abrupt, no "bedside manner." He didn't explain things until I asked questions. Maybe he considered my procedure trivial? Rest of office staff was great. Ophthalmologist was wonderful.

Dr Brems was spot on with his treatment plan and Dx. He was nice and answered my questions.

Equipment seemed subpar and staff does not tell you what they are doing to you or putting drops into your eyes. Brems did not even introduce himself or assistant as it was my first time being in office. Belt like was at production factory. Cleanliness of equipment and furniture is a concern as

Dr. Brems prescribed steroid eye drops with one refill for my blepharitis. My vision was fine before seeing this Doctor. I have seen three other opthamologist and they all confirm I developed cataracts in both eyes because of the long term use of the prednisone steroid eye drops that Dr. Brems prescribed. I have to get cataract surgery immediately as I have lost alot of my vision. Dr. Brems is a terrible doctor. Do not go to this doctor.

Dr. Brems is skilled - the hospital told me I was lucky to have him do the cataract surgeries due to his skill. This was out of his earshot and just a casual remark. He has done thousands of them (volunteers for surgeries in the Philippines). Personally called me the night of surgery to check on me even though the hospital calls too. Has done my husband's surgeries too. Four out of four!

Dr. Brems seems to be very arrogant, condescending and even rude. Would never go back....even though his staff seems to be very friendly.

I was having trouble seeing and Dr. Brems did my cataract surgery and now I can see great. I would have any of my family or friends see Dr. Brems

I needed cataract surgery and came to Dr. Brems for a second look. I am so grateful that I did. Dr. Brems found 2 Retinal tears that the first Ophthalmologist missed. If I would have had my cataracts fixed by any other Doctor I would be blind! Dr. Brems had his staff make an appointment with the Retinal specialist for the same day to fix my tears. Dr. Brems took the time to explain to me in detail the risks associated with the surgery due to my health risks, he also took extra care when explaining to my spouse what was happening with me. I have been so impressed with this Doctor and his work ethic. He called me the night after surgery to check up on my progress and comfort. He also made me feel very important when he took time out of his weekend to see me as a follow up on a Saturday. Dr. Brems is a kind a caring man that is beyond knowledgeable in his field of expertise! I cannot thank this man enough!
