Dr Norton turned my life around with one ACDF procedure. I'm an active duty military service member and he turned the hands of time back on my health. I feel like the pain was a bad dream. Spinal surgery was very simple and honestly I expected the worst. The staff are kind and profesional. I would fly across the country to get treated here again.

Dr. Norton and his staff are first-rate from start to finish. I started seeing Dr. Norton 2 years ago. I was impressed when he told me that back surgery should be a last resort and he referred me to his pain partner. After 2 years, the shots were not working anymore and Dr. Norton said it was time for surgery. He calmly explained in great detail what he would have to do and took the time to answer any questions we had, explaining things and making sure we understood what he was saying. He made the whole process as “painless” as this kind of thing can be. When you have an appointment you frequently have to sit and wait quite a while for your turn, but having him help you is WELL worth the time.

Happened the reverse. No exam, no history, looked at recent series of x-rays (MRI,CT,regular spine x-rays). He walked into exam room, told me I needed an extremely long and involved surgery and was about to write it into schedule book went I walked out. Never treated, looked at or given any other option. I wasn't too happy with methodology and left.

Dr Norton is a very personable and competent surgeon. I have consulted with him on several occasions and he has always been forthright and not alarming. I recently had cervical spinal surgery with him and am making excellent progress. I am a spinal surgery veteran, having had six previous surgeries on my lumbar spine in Manhattan. The care I have received from this doctor and this office, equals the care I received in the city. There is no need to doctor 'shop' if you are in a situation where spinal surgery is recommended. You will find everything you need right here in Florida.

I saw this doctor as one of several opinions. He tried scaring me into surgery on my lower back. 2 subsequent doctors sent me to physical therapy. This was 2 years ago and I'm fine. So happy I didn't listen to him. Get another opinion

3yrs ago on dec.10,,,dr.norton performed my surgery.i had 2 fusions and a laminectomy.the moment I woke up from the surgery I had no pain in which I had for 3yrs and could not walk and stoped being able to do anything.i am and will always be greatful for this surgeon who is an expert in his field.the staff of dr.norton are always nice,polite,and most efficiently in the office.the staff calls you back fast.dr.norton personally one evening at 7pm,for concern and to assure satisfaction.after 3yrs I have to write to tell people who have to have surgery.DO NOT HESSITATE go see dr.robert Norton....from mr.caismer wisomierski
