Dr. Robert Alan Nussbaum, MD

Run. Today at the Nausbum's office of Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hide: "Where's your mask!?" I was aggressively greeted and then, lectured, by the receptionist. In front of the doctor, when I suggested more civility, he broke into hysterics storming from the room. His hands visibly shaking he returns to his seat. The doctor then asked how he could help me. I stated that I was sure, at that point, that we would not be working together. "Get out of here!" he snarled. "You're dismissed." "Dismissed?" I state. "Yes, I give you permission to leave my office" and childishly he adds "and I'll be sure to tell your physician about this!" I left without a word. Best $40 of discovery I have ever spent. Indeed - Dr. Jackal and Mr. Hide. I wonder how his demeanor worsens when you are sedated?

Dr. N treated me for several decades. He never failed to provide the best of care and attention. Total professional. Highly recommended.

The front desk is very rude and the general office is not compassionate, unprofessional, rude, and not even deserving of my 1 out of 5.

From the first phone call scheduling a appointment to the follow up after a procedure, I have felt at ease with a procedure some find uncomfortable to think about. Dr. Nussbaum and his excellent staff track me during the between years offer education and answer any questions I have as the procedure dates arrives they ensure I have met all pre op testing and requirements. The morning of Dr. Nussbaum visits you and makes sure you are at ease. Next thing you know you're waking up in the recovery room. He will not release you until he comes by and gives you a run down on everything that transpired. I can't imaging going to anyone else.

Dr. Nussbaum is detailed and thorough in his examination and analysis. He also reviews, in detail, the diagnosis and treatment options with me so that we can decide on the best overall treatment plan.

I was seeing this doctor for a few years due to an unexplained illness. I knew I needed to see this kind of specialist but I always felt uncomfortable being around him because of his demeanor. I felt like I was on a conveyor belt. He always quickly leads me off to his office, reads my test results out loud to himself, while not answering any of my questions, interrupting me, then pushing me off for a 2 minute examination, and then pushes me off to schedule yet another procedure. My last visit was about 10 minutes. He has zero compassion, doesn’t believe what you say, and spends zero time with you. Plus, he talks down to you on a consistent basis. I suspect that he knows that he makes most of his money from the outpatient procedures, so this is the least of his concerns in doctor etiquette. Go see someone else! The only positive I have to say is that his 2 person staff are the sweetest and most compassionate people I’ve met in a doctor setting (I have a lot of specialists). I actually… feel bad for them!

Very very rude. Did not listen yo my complaints. Only spent 10 kind eith me. He said it was all in my head. I felt tyzhed. He talked to me like I was a child. I left office crying. Do not go yo him. I'm leaving reviews on yelp as well. He said my results in blood and cat scan was fine. He said I ezdted his time. Made me feel uneasy during my exam too. I told him I wanted second opinion fue yo pain and vomiting. And he said I don't know why you would.

I have been seeing Dr. Nussbaum for many years for an on going health issue. He has been great. He is very detail oriented and took the time to explain to me my medical conditions. Dr. Nussbaum also took the time to explain to me my treatment options. Since I have been under his care, I have my health issues under control. I would highly recommend his services!
