We are so thankful for Dr. obermyer and his team. Our son was born with intestinal malrotation with a volvus. He was kind and pleasant. Answered all of our questions and never dismissed our concerns. He saved our sons life. He is now 4 months and healthy, gaining weight and only on one medication. It was a rocky road with our baby but Dr. obermyer was always positive! He is an amazing doctor ??! We owe him more than a “thank you”.

Dr. Obermyer always takes time to listen to your concerns. He answers your questions thoroughly and makes sure you understand the pros and cons. He treats every patient as if they are his only patient. He changed my sons life with the Nuss procedure.

Dr Obermeyer did the emergency laparoscopic appendectomy on our 11 year old son and was a huge blessing to us and made every effort to provide us with info on what was happening and what to expect.

Dr Obermeyer is the finest doctor and surgeon. We were immediately put at ease with his knowledge of the Nuss Procedure, his expertise, kindness and genuine concern for my child. He spent as much time as necessary answering questions on several different occasions, also checking on him each day in the hospital. My son's results are outstanding and he is well on his way to recovery. I am forever grateful :)

Dr. Robert Obermeyer operated on our son last month. The experience was truly amazing. We chose Dr. Obermeyer based on his credentials and reviews. From the moment we met him, he was warm, kind, evaluated our son at length, did not rush the appointment at all and answered all of our questions. We felt an instant connection and trust with him. Throughout the hospital stay Dr. Obermeyer was able to check in with our son on a number of occasions. Follow-up was unhurried and thorough, his staff very patient and helpful. From evaluation through follow-up, Dr. Obermeyer was truly an excellent surgeon.

CHKD and Dr. Obermeyer were blessing to our son. He had nuss pectus surgery last summer... a big effort... and he's playing HS sports a year later. We are raving fans. Dr. Obermeyer was a perfect surgeon for our teenage son - he's an engineer/doctor and nuss results are A+.

Dr.Obermeyer is awesome. He operated on my son when he was 10 days old and again at 5 months. He was patient, very informative but also very truthful. His professionalism was not overshadowed by his caring spirit. I highly recommend him!
