Dr. Robert Paul Olson, MD

I moved to Orlando in 2019 and am very happy to have found Dr. Robert Olson for a primary care provider. First, his office is close and I don't have to drive to the other side of town. Second, he listens to me and answers questions about my concerns (of which I have had several) quickly through Orlando Health's messaging system. He treats the patient as a whole, covering preventative as well as ongoing problem needs. He also has referred me for other specialties as called for. When he is not available his Nurse Practitioner, Kelly, will also eagerly address my concerns. Lastly, my husband likes him as his physician as well. I feel very comfortable knowing I can count of their office for care promptly. Thank you, Dr. Olson, for accepting new patients.

I came to Dr. Olson really sick. Unfortunately, he did not take time seriously; in fact, I doubt he takes most young women seriously. In a matter of 15 minutes, he claimed he would listen to my symptoms, dismissed me after my first symptom, told be that my job (a teacher) was so easy that he plans to teach when he retires, and then he told me my problems are in my head. He prescribed Zoloft and sent me on my way. He never checked in. Almost two years later I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and a sucrose intolerance, which he completely dismissed. I am still working through my illness with my new doctors, but I still think about how this man was such an incompetent doctor as I pass his office five times a week on my way to work. As I was cleaning, I found and disposed of the unused Zoloft prescription, I realized that I had to warn others not to use him as your doctor. Please save yourself the time and stress and find a doctor who cares.

Dr Bob understands the human condition with out quick glib judgements. HE PATIENTLY LISTENS .He is kind. He alleviates fears and never is critical or indulges in delusions of grandjer. The aging process brings patients with years of history and he is able to wade thru it without put downs. He is emmotionally, and mentally astute.
