Dr. Robert Louis Oppenheimer, MD

Relocating from Clearwater to Sarasota in early 2018, I was in need of finding a new doctor to monitor my health that was primarily related to my thyroid .... nothing more than a regular 6 month visit to make sure the medication was at the appropriate level. After having gone though my first experience of pneumonia during the winter of 2017, I had to visit Dr Oppenheimer where I was diagnosed with a lung infection. I was prescribed an antibiotic and Prednisone which, unfortunately, altered my ability to fall asleep and/or to stay asleep. In trying to deal with the situation of not getting enough sleep, which was affecting my overall health, I was handed off to some underlings of Dr. Oppenheimer who had no regard for my health. In trying to speak with Dr Oppenheimer today, 15 Nov, about my situation, I was hung up on by someone I was speaking with at their answering service ........ Enough with the lousy service from First Physicians Group of Sarasota which can’t compare… to my doctor in Clearwater.

Always takes time to explain things and answer questions. Don't get a bum's rush. Office staff very friendly as well.
