I know you're not gods and you're not perfect. I know you spoke with another neurosurgeon other than dr. Koga stating that Linarello did not need to get advise from dr. Koga to proceed with Callie gallbladder removal knowing she had a shunt. We advise the doctor before the gallbladder surgery that he needed to talk to the neurosurgeon because of the drain in the abdomen. Linarello did not heed our advice and we didn't find out until Callie had horrible headaches and almost died from bacterial meningitis. Thank God for dr. Kogan and dr. Carolopolis. A procedure needs to be written for all surgeons doing any type of abdominal surgery to contact the neurosurgeons for people with shunts. My daughter is just now feeling better. She stayed in the hospital for a month went home with antibiotics intravenously, done by mother who lost her job during this time. The expense was great and the stress was overwhelming. You guys stick together and it's a shame.
