Dr. Robert Pereyra, MD

Based on consultation, the doctor seems OK, based on my experience for consultation, but he did not perform surgery on me. I would give the office zero stars if it were possible. It took a month to schedule a consultation. Received new patient forms only after two phone calls and two weeks. After consultation, no follow up or contact of any kind to schedule procedure, even after multiple calls to inquire. I gave up and scheduled my procedure elsewhere. Don't waste your time here.

Dr. Pereyra was great surgeon. Office visit was quick and to the point. He explained how the laparoscopic cholecystectomy was going to go. The day of the surgery was not very nervous especially with the great surgery staff at white memorial medical center. The operating room nurse assured me that Dr.pereyra is great doing that procedure. After the surgery was in extreme pain so Dr. Pereyra did not send me home and put me on a 24hr hold to be given pain medication. Which I appreciated. My scars are very small, Made a full recovery and feel great thanks to Dr. Pereyra and the staff at white memorial medical center. Would defenatly use him again and recommend to friends and family.

I'll keep it short. If you want a great surgeon with good technical skills and wealth of knowledge he fits the profile. If you want someone to do an average job and then sit and hold your hand with a smile, he is not your guy. One of the best surgeons I have seen.

Office staff are horrible and rude. Dr. Pereyra is a decent doctor but he definitely needs to improve his attitude with patients. I think Dr. Pereyra's office pricing is decent and fair. If think you can stomach his office staff and his stone face attitude then give him a try. I personally have to bite my tongue with this office because i need a break on pricing.

After being in severe pain after my Gallblader surgery for a week and a half Dr. Pereyra let me know that if I didn't have a fever or Jaundis I could go home and continue to take pain medication. He didn't even ask me to describe the pain or care that I had it. In the 4 minutes he spent with me the only thing he made very clear is that he didn't care at all.
