Dr. Robert Perry, MD

Dr. Perry was a good doctor when I first starting seeing him, seemed to understand my situation and helped. However, one day he just stopped managing my chronic pain stating I needed a pain management doctor, well, did that twice both times with IPA in Killeen where they did nothing to manage my pain other than procedures until I did all of them and never once gave me anything to manage pain! So I went back to Dr. Perry and got him to help me again, he did so for a bit, stating I need to see a new pain management doctor, so I did, this doctor said he doesn't prescribe pain meds and does exactly what IPA does and that there was nothing he could do... So, I went back to Perry and he told me nothing he could do for pain according to the restrictions set by the CDC.... Come to find out I looked up the CDC guidelines for opioids being prescribed, the CDC can not make law, that was left up to each states legislative bodies and in Texas he was right about acute pain being limited to 10… days, however, in Texas law, chronic pain, palliative care, cancer pain, end of life care can be treated long term by opioids!!! In short Dr. Perry is a liar and might as well just be a PA or nurse assistant.... I would never recommend him to anyone!

Doctor Perry is a good doctor, but his office staff is consistently inept and don't do their jobs, referrals just don't get made period.

Did labwork, went through patient portal to see results, not much there just high cholesterol, looked again a year later and now seeing high Glucose, and high Eosinophils, i was contacted about Cholesterol but not the other. Some people have Eosinophils in lungs some in blood and in the blood it could be blood cancer or cancer in other places. I was not told anything about it. Now im concerned about having to find out by checking on it. He should have told me.

Waiting for 45 minutes now while.listening to the doctor discuss Chicago, Martin Luther King Jr and other things not.pertaining to the visit. Still waiting to be seen. When we spoke to office staff they only said you can cancel.and reschedule. I'm in pain so I need to wait to be seen.

Dr. Perry has helped me tremendously. He is very knowledgeable, paitent and even makes me laugh at times. He doesn't try to rush me in and rush me out.He takes the time to find out what is really going on. I have to see several doctors on a regular basis but Dr. Perry is one of my favorite. He is down to earth and explains things in a way that I understand.If he doesn't know the answer he is not afraid to say so but is willing to try to find the answer. I would definitely recommend Dr. Perry in a minute.
