Dr. Robert Philip Pierce, DO

I filled out the paperwork. When Robert Pierce DO, walked in the room he did not introduce himself, etc. He just stated, "What do you expect me to do about all this?" I then understood why I was able to get an appointment with him so quickly. Of course, that was my ONLY office visit with him and wish I had walked out immediately. Am guessing he puts on a good front for other physicians as they seem to think quite highly of him. We the patients, know the true Dr. Pierce.

Dr. Pierce is a wonderful neurologist. He really helped figure out my issues with migraines when others could not. I honestly could not say enough nice things about him. He will spend as much time as necessary in an appointment to figure out a new solution and communicates his thoughts, treatment plans clearly and is always available (or his staff) if I have ever had any questions between appointments. I would not see another neurologist and highly recommend Dr. Pierce to anyone with migraine issues.

I have not actually been to see him yet so my experience is based on scheduling and office staff. I was on time to my appointment but ended up in the wrong suite in the right building. It took them 20 minutes to tell me to go upstairs and that as at my asking about my paperwork. Once I arrived upstairs they immediately told me that I had to reschedule. They were not concerned at all that it took me 6 weeks to get into see them. It was not until I told them that I wouldn't be coming back that they decided to at least try to find a different neurologist in the building that could see me. No matter what the wait for another visit would be at least 2 weeks. I was so disappointing as I have been experience concussion symptoms all this time and was just in the wrong office which was confirmed by the lady downstairs. If I could find another doctor that I could get in to see faster I totally would. I am hoping that seeing him will be better than my experience with his office staff so far.

I have been seeing Dr. Pierce for over three years, and I have always had good experiences. He has always shown concern for my well-being and always takes plenty of time to explain things and answer any questions.

Diagnosed me before he even ran any tests on me. Told me my physical issues were psychological. I felt he did not take me seriously and decided that, since my issues did not seem to be neurological, I was not truly experiencing anything real. I will not be going back to him.

I had to wait 3 months to get into the office to see him as the neurologists are very busy there I guess. But upon seeing him, I found him to be pleasant, listened to what I had to say, took a lot of notes about what I was saying and came up with a couple of potential diagnosis that might be the issue. I am still in the diagnostic phase, but I am pleased with him so far. I absolutely would recommend him to anyone if they needed a neurologist.

This guy is arrogant, a poor communicator, and seemingly more concerned with repeating tests than treating patients.

I like Dr. Pierce and feel he is very good at diagnosis and treatment. However, one cannot contact his office directly. One has to leave a message with staff outside of his office and then they forward the message to his office. The wait times on the phone can be horrendous. Don't try to call during your lunch hour or you may miss lunch.
