POTENTIAL PATIENTS BEWARE!! This doctor recently (2017) left his practice at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital (Resort Way, Ellsworth, ME) to practice with a group of ID (Infectious Disease) physicians at Eastern Maine Medical Center (Bangor, ME). He is no longer (in my and others’ opinion) capable of providing quality (or even minimally adequate) medical care to ID patients. He is not fully engaged with his patients and is dismissive when inadequacies and health-altering actions on his part are brought to his attention. He is also known to routinely cancel and reschedule appointments which greatly inconvenience his patients - many of which live great distances away. Sadly, there are no longer (at this time/writing) quality (and qualified) ID physicians in the Downeast Coastal Maine area - which now sadly necessitates patients having to seek out quality ID physicians - and travel great distances (Boston, Philadelphia, NYC, etc.) in order to receive the quality health care that… they deserve.
