Dr. Robert S Price, MD

Dr. Price spent maybe 10 minutes with me, did not even do a manual exam to check the size of my hernia, (I later found out I had 2 feet of intestine coming out) then basically told me I was too fat, he wouldn't do my surgery, and that I needed to find another doctor. He said the name of a doctor that doesn't take my insurance -did not write me a referral- Then he walked out the door.

Bad, didn't check for anything other than an inguinal hernia. Bad

Had consultation for gall bladder attack week prior, that went fine he was nice ordered Ultra sound and was found to be full of Stones, Scheduled surgery 1-week out, Never spoke with Docter after surgery but was told surgery went fine. Was in bad pain immediately, was given percocet and got itchy very quickly, Got up to go to bathroom with nurse and had my throat close off and couldn't breathe. Scary never happened before. She ordered a breathing treatment and was better. Kept me 3-hours in recovery because of oxygen level. Went home and took a pain pill oxycodone and the severe itching and tightness in chest began . Did not take anymore pain pills and drank water as much as possible. Took only Ibuprofen. Called Dr. at 2.00 AM and he said Take more Ibuprofen. Suffered through and called and got Hydrocodone on day 3-to sleep. Still allergic but took with high dose of Benadryl. Called to see Dr. on day 6 very bloated and in pain still , no sleep, Went in and he was very Non… Compassionate and I got the impression he thought I was trying to get pain meds. NOT".. Still very Bloated in upper stomach and have hives on stomach area. He barely looked at my stomach and said Try adding some Tylenol with the Ibuprofen and call me in two weeks if your still hurting. Oh ya, he also commented to say he had Knee replacement surgery and he only took Ibuprofen.. That was that and he left the room. I feel my recovery has been prolonged because of getting no rest due to the pain. He did nothing to alleviate my concerns that something was not quite right.. The office acted really weird about wanting to get me an appointment before the 2-week mark, but did it hesitantly and then this is what I was met with.

Dr. Robert Price saved my husband's life in a very critical emergency situation. He also did surgery on me and saved my life as well. Couldn't ask for a better surgeon. I would give him a 10 star rating in every category if there was one.

I was not impressed with his manner, couldn't wait to get us out of his office. We didn't know any more information than when we went in. I know we would not use him as our surgeon .

Ended up in the E.R. with a very unexpected gallbladder attack. After being sent home and told to consult a surgeon for surgery, I contacted Dr. Price's office that day (referred by a friend who works for IHC). He saw me the next day and seeing how much pain I was in, added me to his surgery schedule for the following day. Very caring, outstanding bedside manner...wish they were all like him(:

I was life flighted to LDS hospital after an automobile accident, and when I arrived my blood pressure crashed. Dr. Price knew exactly what was going on and rushed me into surgery. He saved my life.
