Dr. Robert Warren Price

My mother has been a long term patient of Dr. Price, and very satisfied, until recently. It appears that he has accepted so many patients that he cannot accommodate their needs. My Mom has always seen Dr. Price, but due to a recent surgery, was unable to attend to a scheduled appointment. After her surgery, I found that the schedule was so full that it was several months before I could arrange for a replacement visit. Then the replacement visit was with a Nurse Practitioner, not Dr. Price. Then that visit was cancelled due to some conflict. My Mother is a wheel chair patient and thus rescheduling appointments is difficult to arrange with the Assisted Living schedule. Since the date and time is reliant on the available schedule of the Assisted Living, I make the primary arrangements, but leave to the AL to make the final arrangements, based upon the date and time. An appointment was made after the cancellation by Dr. Price's office, but the wrong address was provided to the AL… office. As a result my Mom was 16 minutes late to the appointment, only to find that the office had cancelled her appointment and wished to reschedule!! Due to the transport issues with my Mom, I cancelled the visit and am arranging for an alternate Cardiologist to care for my Mom. It is another example of profit in scheduling taking preference over patient needs. I would strongly advise to avoid this practice if you have a family member who requires special needs. Dr.Price has been my moms cardiologist for many years. She has been in congestive heart failure for many year and arterial value. She also has Alzheimer's disease and which at times she gives him love taps. He has always been so patient with her and understood. While she was in the hospital he continued to check in on her to ensure she was cared for properly. She totally loves him and tells him offend. Thank you doctor Price!!
