Dr. Robert Frederick Quigley, DO

He's personable & takes the time to listen to your concerns. My husband really likes him the best out of the three he's had.

He was amazing when he treated my fiancee in the hospital and with aftercare.

I've never had a doctor put me at ease like Dr. Quigley! He is very casual and at ease! My kidneys are now in the care of someone I trust!

Dr. Quigley and his PA are excellent in knowledge and caring about their patients. I have never had such good care and even the doctor called me back to tell me something. His PA called me back and followed through in treating the problem. I will tell everyone I know how great they are.

Staff are either very incompetent or they are covering for a doctor that just does not care about you until you are ringing major dollar signs in his eye. Are the people who gave him good ratings related to him?

Staff are complete flakes and liars... would not recommend this doctor!

Dr. Quigley is the second nephrologist I have been to. The first was not very friendly and extremely hard to understand due to a language barrier. Quigley is a great person and doctor and he is a great reason to go to an appointment that could be an otherwise stressful experience. Quigley's outfits are incredible and fantastic! I would highly recommend him!

Dr Quigley was not our original nephrologist. After a huge miscalculation from my husbands previous nephrologist, and a change in insurance I viewed this humorously dressed guy at the unit. Once I found out he was a nephrologist we made the switch. Not only did he give my husband renewed hope, he helped find a dialysis clinic that wasn't trying to keep him in the chair but on to home hemo. His caring and professionalism are from the heart. He obviously loves nephrology, and gets personal joy in making his patients smile. Dialysis is no walk in the park, but it's nice to have your doctor walking with you.

Dr. Quigley has been my husbands nephrologist for 3 years. He has always treated us with respect and genuine concern. He is a great listener and always follows up to ensure you are ok. I know he does this on a regular basis for other patients as well because I am a dialysis nurse that works with Dr. Quigley on a regular basis. He often calls our patients at home to check on them and spends lots of time with the patients at appointments. I have never met another doctor that cares about each patient the way he does. I saw another review on this site that shed a bad light on him. I would now like to respond to that review. Doctors do not read every nurse note. It is the RNs responsibility to bring problems they find to the attention of the physician. The doctor doesn't usually call in a prescription to the pharmacy. It is typically the RN. He dresses a little crazy...to put a smile on your face. Having a serious diagnosis such as End Stage Kidney Failure tends to be depressing. Bottom… line... I know all the nephrologists in town...I would let most of them take care of my husband...but I chose Dr. Quigley...for many very good reasons. You can't go wrong choosing him as your nephrologist.

Dr. Quigley did not read nurses' notes stating key finding that impacted the care of my family member - then stated that the nurses never documented the findings (I saw the records and the notes were all included - he simply never read them or lied to us). He also did not communicate key information we gave him to the pharmacy that was negatively impacting the health of our family member. His lack of detail, insufficient communication and cavalier attitude were reckless and unprofessional. Very very unhappy with this doctor.
