Dr. Ramirez, Robert is an outstanding doctor who stays current with medications and treatment options. He and his staff are always prompt and professional. Dr. Ramirez demonstrates his outstanding bedside manner by taking his time with you, never making you feel rushed, and showing a genuine compassionate concern for your health. After successfully treating me for a condition that another doctor in SA couldn't, I trust Dr. Ramirez completely. I have and will continue to recommend this doctor to anyone who is looking for quality.

The dr is very thorough explaining the use of the medications and treatment of my sons asthma. The dr interacts with my son so that it makes him feel comfortable with the visit.

I started taking my daughter to see Dr Ramirez two & a half years ago when she was only 18 months old due to chronic ear infections. He was the second allergist that my daughter had seen as I was very unsatisfied with the experience I had with the first allergist. When she was initially referred to see an allergist by her pediatritian the idea was scary enough for me as my baby was so very young, but I decided to follow the recommendations despite my own reservations. In her initial visit with the first allergist she was not seen by the specialist but instead by the PA. I questioned what would be the purpose of seeing a "specialist" if her initial consult was gonna be by a PA. No offense to physican assistants or anything but there is a reason specialist are required by the Board of Medicine to study so many years. Regardless the outcome was less than desirable as it was recommended to initiate a long & gruesome series of tests on her by sticking her with needles. On an 18 month old?… Immediately I decided to get a second opinion which is when Dr Ramirez came into the picture. When I first called to setup the appointment the receptionist asked me if I could come in on Tuesday. I was like next month? She said no, next week. I was so impressed as it took me a month & a half to be able to get an appointment by the other allergist. After the first visit my daughter had with Dr Ramirez he explained to me that needle testing on infants is not necessarily the best option as the results may not be so accurate. Instead he recommended we do a blood test that could pinpoint the main allergens that affect her that way he could know which seasons most trigger her symptoms. Granted it was not the most pleasant experience to draw blood from your baby but knowing that you could have almost immediate results in order to develop a plan of action was 100% more reasonable than the needle testing alternative given to me by the other allergist. Dr Ramirez has improved my daughters quality of life by all of his recommendations. She rarely gets an ear infection and is able to participate in many activities like a normal toddler instead of being at home on antibiotics. I am so grateful to Dr Ramirez for his infinite support & dedication to not only my daughter but myself as well. I also more recently became a patient of his due to chronic sinusities. Amazingly I saw him for the first time with the idea that I was gonna have extensive allergy testing and as it turned out I left his office with a completely different diagnoses. His background as an internist I feel is a huge plus for his practice as he has a much more broad insight of the labyrinth that the human body can be.

I am so glad I found Dr. Ramirez. He is very caring and listens to any and all concerns and addresses them one by one. I have never felt rushed. He seems to be up on all the current treatments and is not afraid to try new things. By far the BEST doctor I have ever had. I would highly recommend him to anyone who suffers from allergies, skin irritations and/or respiratory problems.

Simply put: he's a really great doctor. He listens to my concerns regarding medications, explains in FULL the possible side effects, and does not rush through the appointment. The follow up appointments come with a reminder call, which any busy mom would agree is stellar service. My experience with the wait time to see the doctor is minimal, and the staff is courteous and helpful. They even helped me find an ENT who would take our insurance. This review is coming from an actual patient, well, mother of a patient, who highly recommends this doctor.

To my surprise he was able to see my daughter the same day I called. Wait time was not bad for being a walk in and having to fill out paper work. He was very friendly and was accurate with his diagnosis. We haven't been back for a follow up yet, but we are looking forward to it.
