I'm trying to get my prescription sent to the DMV for drivers license renewal. I was told it was company policy not to send those out past 30 days of my exam. My exam was taken August 2025, so the prescription and information needed for that report is still valid. I didn't know I had to tell them at the time of the exam that this report needed to be filled out because I wasn't even thinking about my license renewal until 2026. I was told that they have a policy of 30 days after the exam to prevent them from liability, but the report that would be filled out in August of 2025 would say the same information that would be given in February 2026. This doesn't make sense and puts the client in a disadvantaged situation for subjective reasons. Not sure I will return to this business. I'm very disappointed and disillusioned.
