Dr. Robert Woochul Rho, MD

I was diagnosed with AFIB a year and a half ago and put on medication that made my active life more complicated and difficult. I trust Evergreen Cardiovascular at Evergreen Hospital so saw Dr. Rho. He told me I was a prime candidate for ablation surgery. Dr. Rho guided me through the process, performed the procedure, and kept close contact during recovery. The procedure was a success. Because of the the excellent care I received from Dr. Rho this summer I snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef, ziplined through the trees in New Zealand, and many other activities that without this procedure I would not have been able to do with my three kids--age 20 to 30 and my husband of 38 years. I had to wait one time for Dr. Rho and that's small compared to how good I feel and the wonderful life I continue to enjoy thanks to him.

Dr. Rho literally saved my life I was 16 years old when I had my first Ablation Procedure that failed. My second was with Dr. Rho 3 years later, I was terrified I would have to live with this the rest of my life and I was sure I would need a pacemaker by the time I was 30. I'm 32 years old without a pacemaker and have lived carefree of my heart issues thanks to Dr. Rho. I could go on and on about his kindness, his real concern for his patients and how comfortable you feel with him. But it all boils down to how amazing he is at his Job, I feel blessed and lucky to that I was his patient

Dr. Robert Rho looked after my husband when his heart stopped and required the implantation of a pace maker. Dr Rho was immensely sensitive to my elderly husband's (he's 80+) need for emotional warmth and reassurance and for my need of good counsel and effective management of the exigencies of my husband's condition. We will miss him very much in San Francisco.
