Dr. Robert Andrew Riley, MD

Has told my elderly father on three separate visits “ your taking up all my time”. Requires a visit for every script he writes :(

Dr. Riley is punitive, insensitive, interrupts, has no interest in any information that is neither black nor white and is happy to make broad generalizations and sweeping recommendations based on his own distorted understanding of a situation. I am a health care provider myself. I've never seen anyone treat a weak, elderly person as harshly as I've seen him treat my family member. He is either a power tripper who is more intent on CYA, or has such compassion fatigue he has no energy left to understand people's unique hardships.

Probably the worst listener I can imagine. Pretends to listen after he’s made his points, which he insists on doing first, then just reiterates and ignores you. Arrogant and condescending. Did I mention arrogant? On some kind of power trip, but you can tell he’s a wimp, afraid of something, maybe a lawsuit... probably got beat up a lot in high school. Stay away...

If you are looking for a Doctor that is on his game and knowledgeable, well you just found one.

My husband and I both see Dr. Riley as our primary care physician. He is excellent in diagnosing and referring to specialists. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who uses his time wisely with patients. The computer paperwork is a must and is a convenience for keeping our records up to date.

Dr. Riley saved my life! My first visit with Dr. Riley, he immediately prescribed high blood pressure medicine for me, which according to him is highly unusual for him to do. My blood pressure was so high that I could have suffered a stroke. I am so glad I found Dr. Riley. I am forever grateful.

He is very good at follow-up and tracking issues like weight, diet, etc.

Excellent physician. Very proactive. Concerned about my well being. He knows my family history so he is always making sure that the proper tests are conducted. I think the affiliation with Spectrum has caused the group to have to shorten the social aspect of a visit so that everything is more business like without time to develop the personal relationship. I would recommend Dr. Riley to anyone.

He is most thorough---takes care of all aspects of my well being---most professional but caring of me as a person and my concerns/feelings. I feel we have a comfortable doctor/patient relationship. I highly recommend him as a physician.
