Dr. Robinson is a Cum Laude graduate of Colorado State University & The University of Colorado School of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Neurosurgery Training Program in 1999. He practiced in Atlanta & Tuscaloosa before relocating his practice to Birmingham in 2008, joining the Neurological team of Norwood Clinic. Dr. Robinson was recognized as one of America's Best Doctor's in 2009.

I went to Dr. Robinson due to he had already done some work on my neck before. This time I was having headaches and spasms in my neck. I had already got him a MRI he did an X-ray and told me I had significant arthritis and he seen where bone was sticking up. He sent me for a Cat scan. It was sent to him and he was suppose to call me back. Six months later no call nothing. Still have headaches every day and spasms.

Dr Robinson seems to be a caring doctor but there was no EMG tests performed, no MRI was performed even though I told him I had had terrible neck spasms. Wrong surgery performed. He did ACDF when it should have been a 360 degree surgery.

Dr. Robinson did surgery on my back Oct.1, 2019 at Grandview Medical Center. I chose Dr. Robinson because of the excellent reviews I saw and the many surgeries he had done. He did a Lumbar Laminectomy where a area of my spine was closed in to about 5 mm. He said it would be same day surgery and would be instant relief. Usually there is something one can pick apart and say it could have been better in some area. From going to Dr. Robinson's office and meeting his staff to meeting Dr. Robinson to going to Grandview for presurgery to going to Grandview the day of the surgery everything with everyone was perfect in every way. The surgery has been great if I could leave ten stars with a five star maximum I would. THANKS TO ALL

I had spine surgery eight years ago. Discs C# and C$ were fused. Everything went extremely well. Dr. Robinson did a fabulous job. I have had no issues since. I highly recommend Dr. Robinson. I would not want anyone else doing this type of surgery on me.

I've seen Dr Robinson for 2 years.I had an accident in 2015 that collapsed one of my lower back vertebrae.The procedure he gave and his assisting staff are the most first rate drs. I've ever had.Having arthritis I've had my share of procedures.Dr Robinson is my pick for anything in surgery I may have in the future.Thankyou precious people for all you've done.

Dr. Robinson is very knowledgeable and a very caring neurosurgeon. I have been blessed to have him perform surgery on my back and am now feeling much better. His reputation is one of the best! I would recommend, and have recommended him to several people.

Excellent doctor! Operated on my spine three times, about to have fourth - I wouldn't let another doctor touch my spine but Dr. Robinson.

I know dr. Robinson is great surgeon. But his staff are the worse. After meeting with dr. The staff put me off for months for having my back surgery. If you call it will take 2 or maybe 3 days for they would get back to you. Jessica is maybe the worst person I've ever met or talk too for results.

I had so much facial pain that I could not touch the left side of my face. I had been to two different doctors and they did nothing but put me on meds. I got to the point that I could not handle the pain anymore. I went to my husband's doctor and he referred me to Dr. Robinson. The first time I saw him he told me what we could do to stop the pain and that was surgery so I agreed. After surgery the left side of my face was numb. But now I'm 6 months pain free!! You don't have to live with the pain call and talk to Dr. Robinson and his staff. A Big Thanks to Dr. Robinson, Dr. Pearson and Staff!!!
