Not only top notch care and knowledge, Dr. Rood has given me information and tools to help me out in shaky diabetic times, literaly knows this disease..

Dr Rood and his NP, Susan, are wonderful. They both spend as much time with you as you need, never making you feel rushed. They both listen to you and work with you as part of your team. Dr. Rood listens and works with what works the best with my body, as opposed to what "the book" says to do.

Dr. Rood is tops in his field. He spends the time he needs with his patients even when the allotted time is not enough. The people his works with are very good as well. It is best to make morning appointments with him if you don't want to wait. I highly recommend him and will be sad when he retires.

This is why I switched from another endocrinologist. He wouldn't listen to the side effects I was having with another drug, and insisted on keeping me on it because my "numbers were good." Dr. Rood listened to me, and immediately switched me to another drug which has better results, and no side effects.
