Dr.Rosenwasser saved my life 20 years ago. I have gone on to a complete recovery!

Dr. Rosenwasser did my lumbar back surgeries when I was 19 and he was 36; 27 years ago! I had severely herniated discs from an injury riding my horse when I was 16. I didn’t know better and ignored the pain: kept riding my horse and lifting heavy weight at my job at the animal hospital. I was crippled by the time I was 19. My leg was atrophying, toes curling, I had no arch in back anymore my muscles were so distorted I was crooked. Luckily my parents took me to Temple and found him! An opinion before him by an Orthopedic surgeon had me In Tears. He said I needed bone fusion and bolts.. etc. Dr. Rosenwasser did a lamenectomy/ diacectomy on my L4-5 S1. When I awoke the pain rom my back muscle spasms was the worst breathtaking pain I’ve experienced other than childbirth. But the nerve pain down my leg was gone instantly, once the back spasms passed, I felt so good that I started running and riding my horse and working. Too soon and I started to feel pain agian. He didn’t want to do a… second surgery but I basically forced it. I realized after that he was right.. I needed therapy and exercise and to take it light and not a second surger.. but still... a few years of doing the right things like she told me... and I have been pain free of any lumbar back pain or sciatica my entire life. I call myself a Rosenwasser special lol I am healthy and strong .. following his orders for my life... I didn’t have any back or leg pain sy all through and of my pregnancies! I hurt everywhere else expect my back! No one would believe I had back surgeries so young. I know his least invasive procedures isnehay saved me. I would be an arthritic mess of an Ortho did bone fusion on me at 19! Now for the last 9 years have neck pain from a different injury and herniated discs in my cervical spine. I finally found Rosenwasser at Jefferson and hoped he could do my surgery! I learned that he is only vascular now so I heart broken. When I do get the surgery though, it will be a Jeff Neurosurgeon in his department!

I saw Dr. Rosenwasser as a second opinion for a cerebral aneurysm. From the moment I entered the office every single person from the front desk until seeing the Dr. were amazing. They were so friendly and helpful it put my mind at ease even though my reason to visit was quite serious. Once I met and spoke with Dr. R. I knew he was the one who would perform my procedure. His gentle and compassionate ways combined with his knowledge and professional accomplishments gave me great assurance that my life was in good hands. He took as much time as I needed for understanding what needed to be done, explained in terms I could easily understand and his compassionate bedside manner gave me great confidence that I had made the right choice for him as my surgeon. In such a scary time of my life , it was such a comfort to me to know that even though he was not God, he would do his best to insure a great outcome. I am four weeks into post surgery recovery and I have never second guessed my… decision of choosing Dr. Rosenwasser and would highly recommend him and his wonderful staff to anyone facing the same difficult circumstances.

I walked into this hospital under this surgeons care was overly admitted and mislead. Came out in a wheelchair and crippled for life. He is highly elusive and rude.

I was taken to Tju after being diagnosed with a spinal AVM. When I arrived I was paralyzed from the waist down and had lost bladder and bowel control. Dr. Rosenwasser was leaving for a convention in Europe the following morning but performed emergency surgery the evening before. I spent 5 weeks at Bryn Mawr rehab and eventually regained most of my function. I was lucky to have had such a wonderful surgeon. God bless bright and talented people!

He is an amazing surgeon with excellent bedside manner & communication skills. He saved my husbands life in 2011 by performing a craniotomy & clipping a 6.5 mm cerebral aneurysm.

I had a very large and difficult carotid body tumor. My life many years later is full and rich and I owe so much to Dr. Rosenwasser.

Made me feel at ease from the first meeting with Dr Rosenwasser..Was the best choice..and the only doctor of nuroscience .that will ever get my head ,lol. Thank You Doctor. I need to make an appointment soon.for a checkup.. :)

We took our son to Dr. Rosenwasser after a routine MRI scheduled for migraines by our neurologist was abnormal. The concern was that our son had AVM. After several scans etc. AVM could not be ruled out. We were told that it would take up to 6 mns to schedule with Dr. Rossenwasser but we were in within 2 weeks. It was the longest 2 weeks of my life. Dr. Rossenwasser ended up performing surgery on our so to diagnose AVM. Dr. Rossenwasser was excellent in explaining AVM in terms that we could understand. He was patient and understanding of our fears regarding the surgery. We put our son's life into his hands...that's how comfortable and confident we were in his skill and knowledge. The best phone call that I ever received is when he called us from the OR to report that all was good and the surgery was a success. God Bless this man!

i have had a great experience with Dr.Rosenwasser. So far i have had 2 embolizations 1 went smoothly the other I had some problem but not due to Dr. Rosenwasser. He is the best that is why he gets tied up alot.
