Dr. Robert Thomas Rosman, MD

Doctor Rosman is a fabulous clinician. It is indeed a small world. I was playing rugby at the old Hanson Stadium several years ago and suffered a grade II tear of my left infraspinatus tendon and partial retraction. I also had what I thought was a Baker's cyst in my right popliteal fossa. I was in extreme pain, could not weight bear and was generally a mess. One of my teammates brought me to UI where I encountered this doctor. He did bilateral Ultrasound Doppler exams on my lower extremities and opined that the Baker's cyst I thought I had was indeed a deep vein thrombosis, far more pernicious and in need of immediate remediation. He admitted me for a blood thinning regimen and I have been fine ever since. I could have succommed to my injury but for this excellent physician with whom, incidentally, I grew up in Wilmette, IL. I knew his younger brothers, actually, and was unaware of his existence in the Rosman family as he is somewhat older than I. His mother was a… gifted piano teacher who also substituted at Locust Junior High. Small world.

Dr. Rosman is a caring man that knows his stuff! I see other physicians for special care needs and he makes sure to follow up with them on my condition. If they miss anything, he calls them on it. He is so complete in his care for me and he gives me that added comfort in knowing my diagnosis is spot on. He is a great physician and a truly great human being!

A remarkable physician and an even better human being.

Dr. Rosman found a heart problem and a prostate problem that other doctors missed. I can't say enough good about him. I own a successful business and I am used to being taken care of so I don't give out complements lightly.

I have never met a more caring physician than Dr. Rosman. He make you feel as though he is genuinely concerned about your health. Excellent bedside manner!
