Dr. Robert Rothstein, MD

Dr. Rothstein has been treating my husband (W. Zimmerman) for the past 8-9 months for glaucoma and we feel confident in his level of experience that he is getting the best and most up-to-date treatment. In addition, Dr. Rothstein's staff is always very courteous and helpful and Dr. Rothstein is willing to answer any questions without making us feel rushed in any way.

I am Dr. Robert Rothstein patient for about 28 years. He was recommended to me by another ophthalmologist as an ophthalmologist who besides of other problems also specializes in visual nerves treatment. Unfortunately, after having many years ago temporary visual nerves inflammation, I needed ophthalmologist with this type of skills. And all those years that I am under his observation and treatment I felt confident that I am in good hands. Doctor provided me with necessary test and advises to keep my visual nerves in unchanged and stable condition. His office has contemporary equipment and very skilled and attentive staff.

He did surgery for my wife for no reason she did not need any surgery that's what the hospital told us and she's still in pain for a year and a half and we still going to the hospital back and forth because that surgery plus overcharge he's not satisfied with co-payment and the insurance money always ask for more money unfortunately I don't recommend it for anybody to go there and cause pain and problem to his eye

Dr. Rothstein is a very competent and professional doctor. He really takes his time with you and explains your test results. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a neuro ophthalmologist. PS his office staff is very caring and respectful.

Dr. Rothstein and Dr. Staiman are both professional, kind, and caring. They both really know what they’re doing and how to best help their patients. Their staff is always kind and great as well.

Dr. Rothstein and his staff are always friendly and kind. They always accommodate my requests and they're taking COVID precautions very seriously. Dr. Rothstein is a wealth of knowledge and always answers any questions I have. Sometimes there's a wait at his office but he will spend whatever time you need with him to understand your diagnosis and treatment.

I have seen Dr. Rothstein twice regarding a recurring and concerning issue, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and practical, but also kind, ophthalmologist.

Dr. Rothstein has been my ophthalmologist for over 14 years. I have found him to be an excellent doctor. He does not make rush decisions. I am diabetic, so eye care is extremely important to me. We will always discuss the treatment options, with surgery being the last resort. I have had cataract surgery in the past. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Rothstein's surgical skills as well as knowledge. Having read the reviews, I do agree on one thing. The office visit may take a little while. I have had visits that went very quick, while others that took awhile. Still worth it!

I was there twice and it's an all day thing. The second time he did not want to be bothered. It was quick with me. I needed an emergency visit and it was 3 weeks. His answering service said that they passed my 3 messages to him after I went to the hospital and no call back. Huh? I tried to work something out with them 2 days prior but nothing so I had no choice but to find someone who'll help me.
