Dr. Robert Michael Russ, MD

Dr Russ is the best physician I have ever had in my 68 years. He is kind, caring and offers solutions suggestions to any questions I have in regards to my health. He is professional, responsive and empathetic. I could not ask for a better doctor.

Dr. Russ was our family dr. here in Michigan for almost 20 years. But since he left I have tried 3 different doctors and can’t find one close to Dr. Russ I wish him well he didn’t this change, but we just can’t find another Dr. like him back in Michigan.

In response to the comment made by Very Disappointed, so was I. However, it wasn't with Dr. Russ, it was with the Beaumont System. I too had an appointment in May with Dr. Russ. I was never notified by Beaumont of the real reason he cancelled, just that he was leaving and thanked him for his service. The real reason was, he was ushered out in the most unprofessional way I have ever heard of and not allowed to see his patients for a last visit, since he had submitted his resignation. He was an honest, kind, intelligent doctor who truly cared about his patients. He and his PA, Nicole Barkoff, were an awesome team. Dr. Russ was not willing to put his patients on a time clock, he wanted to practice medicine the way you are supposed to, voiced his thoughts and in my humble opinion, he paid for it. He was ushered out, after office hours, by doctors in the Beaumont System, treated more like a criminal than the caring physician he is. Other doctors before him had also left the practice… because they were not happy. Michigan's loss is Nevada's gain! Good luck and only the very best to you Dr. Russ. You're missed!

I found him well informed. Additionally he actually listened to me.

Dr. Russ was my Dr for 13 years. Very thorough, took time to discuss issues and tests, and great office.

I was a patient of Dr Russ for well over 15 years. I am heartbroken that he was forced out by a system that values the number of patients seen over the quality of each patient's care. The patients in Las Vegas where he has relocated are fortunate indeed.

After seeing Dr Russ for over 19 years I had a my three month appointment coming up in May only to get a call from the office saying Dr Russ was no longer with them. I did not know what to do then a letter came saying Dr Russ would be opening a practice in Las Vegas I was floored and could not believe he left all his patients high and dry left to find a new doctor. Good Doctor I do not know what the good doctor. was thinking I only know many people were left without a doctor. After all the years I now wonder WHY?

Dr. Russ is very courteous, extremely kind, & caring. I feel confident that he will help me with whatever problems I may have. When I lost my husband, he made suggestions, such as journaling, to help me feel less stress. He always explains each medicine he prescribes, & makes sure he is giving me what is best. My overall health has improved since I started seeing him. My blood pressure, & weight are staying where they should be, & I'm exercising more, & eating better, with his help. He is the most understanding, and caring doctor, I have ever been lucky enough to have see me. I really appreciate all he has done for me.

He's a good doctor when you can see him. But it takes 3 months to get an appointment with him or his PA and the office staff are usually hard to deal with.

This was my first visit and it went extremely well. My former doctor retired and two friends recommended Dr. Russ. What a blessing! He is exactly the type of doctor I was hoping to find.
