Dr. Russell has worked on me for years. Did surgery, treatment and cured plantar fasciitis for me and a good friend. Excellent customer service and "bedside" manner.

I was referred to Dr. Russell by my Primary Care Physician in order to evaluate a painful lump on the bottom of my foot. I was also concerned with a family history which involved a lump also on the bottom of the foot for a parent which turned out to be very serious. Dr. Russell removed the lump with great skill. There was virtually no pain involved. In the follow up appointment he explained the details of my lab report which I was glad he had obtained. I had no issues in my recovery by following the prescribed care process. Dr. Russell is very genuine and concerned in how he communicates with patients. In addition he was skillful with the procedure itself. I highly recommend him.

Went to Dr. Russell for orthotics for my shoes, as I have a foot problem. He measured my feet with a mold, which must be an inefficient way of doing this. They came in, and I saw him wastwice for him to fit these things so I could wear them. Neither time was he successful, so I not only wasted my money but also my time, as he appears to see about five patients at the same time. After the second time he could not fit them correctly, I asked my PCP for a referral. Went to Birmingham Podiatry at the Andrews Clinic at St. Vincent’s, and they were extremely modern in building new orthotics. Just walked across some type digital surface to measure what was necessary. They came in, and they put them in my shoes that day, and I am very pleased. I think Dr. Russell may be more interested in making money than treating people. Would definitely not recommend him
