An amazing Dr. I am truly blessed and lucky to have met him. He’s.doing the work that others have neglected.

Met him 3 years ago and it change my life. Financially got the right diagnosis and treatment.

Thoughtful and compassionate Took all the time needed

I`m not sure why people are not giving 5 stares. maybe they have the wrong Dr. I have been seeing Dr sands for 32 years for lupus. He is one of the most compassionate caring person I have ever met . Dr sands is all ways on top of every aspect of my lupus health. always available by phone email and always willing to listen to all of my concerns and I also moved I`m over 60 mile`s away now and still worth the drive.

Always attentive, upbeat and knowledgeable. I've had him since 2003 and although I now live 200 miles away he's well worth the ride. Available by phone and email as well.

I am a mature and educated female and Dr. Sands treated me like I was ignorant. He refused to engage in a conversation about medications or my health condition. Very impatient- like you're taking up his time. Talked in one or two words. For most of the visit, he occupied himself typing on his computer most likely answering his email messages. His secretary served as his "nurse". Not worth the time and money. I would not recommend him.

Dr. Sands needs to learn anger management and basic manners on how to treat a human being with respect and compassion. This doctor was extremely rude to a mature woman with a serious arthritic condition who went to him desperately seeking help and treatment. He was very curt, dismissive and patronizing to me - most likely because I was a woman. Instead of feeling better when leaving his office, I felt worse.

I agree with the other two reviewers- Dr. Sands is rude and uncaring. Absolutely no compassion or empathy for the patient. He spends more time typing on his computer than evaluating and talking to the patient. He never remembers prior lab results and tests. Clueless about your condition. He seems to be distracted and disorganized. Not what you'd expect from a doctor who claims to have high ratings and many "awards". I expected much more from a doctor with those credentials. Plus he has no bedside manner - rarely smiles or says anything pleasant or encouraging. He's mediocre at best.

Not good - go elsewhere. Bad bedside manner- very rude and arrogant. I was actually yelled at several times for asking questions. Lack of respect for patient. Does not thoroughly examine patient. Rushes through visit - wants to move on to next patient as soon as possible. Absolutely no follow-up- doesn't read evaluations that other specialists send him. Go to someone caring and competent and get your money's worth. You're paying for it.
