Dr. Robert Allen Scappa, DO

try calling his office 7 times to find out his phone number was disconnected.

Dr. Scappa has been my urologist for 11 years, from my first visit (2004) to my most recent ( 2015), he has been an excellent physician. He presents the facts in a logic, concise manner. He allows time for all questions. His manner of speaking rapidly is not a sign of rudeness or non-concern. His staff provides test results in a prompt manner. My appointment scheduling is without hesitation or delay. Dr. Scappa was recommended to me by a neighbor and I have gladly shared his name with friends and neighbors.

I found Dr Scappa to be rushed He was on the phone with personal calls and socializing with his blond girlfriend in the office. I would not recomment him or his staff to anyone. He and his staff are rude and I had difficulty obtaining my records or getting hold of his office.

Before my vasectomy he explained the procedure in great depth and made sure I understood fully what awaited me. He made me feel at ease as he rattled off all the stats of every situation possible which was very impressive. The day of my surgery I had a little more bleeding than most men, which I contribute to my genetic background. I was very concerened but doc. Scappa went out of his way to call me several times after the surgery to check up on me to make sure everything was ok. I even got a hold of him at 3 am, that is a doctor that really cares about his patients.

I didn't have an appointment and he was scheduled for surgery. However, he saw that I was in pain and needed an examination and a prescription for a urinary infection. As soon as I filled out the new patient paperwork I was taken back to be seen by the doctor. He is the greatest.
