If you need a heart test, expect to be treated rudely and with indifference when you ask the office staff to schedule it. This has been going on for years with my elderly parents who are in their 80s. Last week, my mother was discharged from the hospital and the female office person that always answers the phone told her that if she needed a heart cath and an echocardiogram, she should have stayed in the hospital instead of calling them to schedule it. The same rudeness and disrespect for my elderly parents occurs every time they call. This is elder abuse and it is unknown why the same office person that answers the phone is so rude to my parents and to us each time we call their office to ask for their help. Dr. Scarletelli is a great doctor. However, he needs to know that my parents are treated as if they are bothering the staff when they call. As always, you need to wait a week or more before anyone will call to schedule a hospital test that is recommended by the doctor.

He is very well informed and kind. He checks thoroughly and listens to his patients.
