Dr. Robert Alan Scarr, MD

My husband is a new patient of Dr. Scarr, having seen the doctor now for approximately four months. The doctor and his staff have been very attentive. I'm fussy about the doctors my husband sees and not only want the doctor to take exceptional care of my husband but expect them to respect me and my concern for my husband's health issues as I'm very involved. As for the rating on the diagnosis given, I marked excellent because Dr. Scarr and his office have followed up extensively scheduling tests, etc., trying to determine if there is a problem with my husband. As of yet -- there's no diagnosis, but I expect the follow-up will carry through until we know what's going on. Overall, we are very pleased to date with the doctor and his staff as they have all been extremely helpful and professional. Thank you.

I have to agree with Mandy on this doctor. I went to him as a new patient and I found him cold & arrogant. I was in his office for maybe 15 minutes (that's a little short for a new patient appt) and he made no effort to make me feel comfortable. When I questioned something he said he became very rude. I'm not unreasonable when it comes to doctors ... I realize that you're going to like some better than others. But Dr. Scarr made no effort to get to know me or my particular concerns and his "bedside manner" is almost non-existent. I left his office very upset and am in the process of switching to another doctor.
