Dr. Bob Schnackberg is one of the kindest doctors I have ever encountered. He takes time to listen and explain procedures and just very pleasant to be around. I trust him with my treatment to the nth degree.

I saw that it said this doctor has retired. I sure do hope so. He is not professional and from personal experience I can tell you that he has more problems than a lot of his patients. He is inappropriate in his behavior toward female patients and should not be working with children or females.

Does not know what he is doing . constant mumbling. Doesn't matter what your real condition is he will give you the wrong medication. Misdiagnosed all of my kids and everyone I know has seen him. Do your selves a favor and never see this sorry excuse for a psychiatrist. Not to mention the racism..

He is nice, but hard to understand, speaks too low, mumbled. Had a hard time communicating, not sure if he was listening at times. I would never recommend.

I love the man. He doesn't practice psychology. If you want to talk then go to a psychologist. I've done both, several times.

He needs to retire! He his difficult to understandm when he mumbles...I mean talks. All he wants to do is pump you full of medications. There are much better doctors in Columbia.

I've seen about four psychiatrists over the course of my life, and Schnackenberg was, by far, the worst-- had none of the caring, concerned qualities one would expect a doctor to embody. Quite contrary-- he avoided discussion of every topic except the very ones that had no connection whatsoever to my diagnosis(es). He was very judgemental, inconsiderate, and, at times, I felt he was even rude. I would not recommend him to anyone, and of all the other people who have also known him in the patient-doctor relationship, have never shared a positive experience with him either.
