Dr. Robert Gregory Sheu

I am a wounded warrior from the 2010 Afghanistan War, single amputee with very severe pain from Phantom Limb Pain, and back pain. This man saved my life, in so many ways. I do not know where I would be with his guidance and ability to see the full scenario. He talks with you until things are finished. I was lucky to be his patient, and friend, for 7-8 years. I trusted him with my life, and would do it a thousand times over. All the way towards the end, and I am sure I was one of the most intensive cases, he used his entire scope of medical managment, and far beyond to make sure I was in a good position. It's military, so wait times are expected, and none of his scope of ability to change, but he would go past them to help how he could. I was in and out of the hospital for almost 2 years towards the end and he was such a great influence. I am now off all meds and on a pain pump and have not been in the hospital for almost a year, need I say more? If you get the chance to work with this… great Man and Doctor, you are a lucky patient. I would work with him again in a heartbeat.

Phenomenal man, doctor, and caretaker of humanity. When it all looks like a bleak life remaining, Dr. Sheu will find you some measure of repetitive if humanly possible.

Simply put Dr Sheu is THE BEST DOCTOR I'VE EVER SEEN. ADDED TO THAT, THE BEST HUMAN BEING. Unfortunately he no longer works at BI but now works for the navy on the west coast. Truly makes me wish I was healthy and join the navy as a naval aviator(that was my plan/dream In life)I only wish I met him strictly on a professional level, as a flight surgeon for ex. not as a patient. Though, if I had to be a patient I'm sure glad it was him that I had the privilege of being my doctor. The man simply breaks EVERY MOLD for when compared against other doctors, it's that simple. I would recommend him to ANYBODY and EVERYBODY simply because he is more knowledgeable and more competent than the "specialists" I went to see. If I have to find any complaint (and its really meritless as things were a two way street) it was the wait time. I spent hours waiting on an average appointment but it was worth it because he spent hours talking with me. There is has not been nor do I have now a doctor that… spends more than 15 minutes with me on average maybe 30 if they screw up and go long. Thus, the wait complaint is simply without merit. Simply put, THE BEST DOC IVE EVER SEEN OR HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING.

I have worked with doctors of many professions and with varying degrees of experience. I am now 24 years into working through my complex medical conditions and have seen thousands of doctors. I first saw Dr. Shue after leaving a very well know medical profession in the field of palliative care because of the doctors personal drug addiction which in the end left me very concerned about who to see next. I cannot recall how I found Dr. Shue but I will swear to my grave that he is the single best doc I have every had the pleasure to work with. He care and concern are for each of his patients is more true and abundant than I have ever experience before.
