Dr. Robert Warren Shields JR., MD

Waited months to see him. Finally got in. Failed a few autonomic tests. Now what!?? He goes on leave/vacation during my appointment time? He knew how sick I was, he knew I was on the verge of death, and he takes off without a word? I have to put in dozens of calls to his office to figure out what's happening, and he didn't even leave a treatment plan? Healthcare is such a logistical nightmare in this country, and it isn't just Dr. Shields. Why go to school for years, learn all about the human body and complex medical cases, if you're going to drop the ball and leave a patient hanging without advice on what to do with the problem they've been diagnosed with? I don't get it.

My insurance form., test results from the past and follow up from office to get test approved from Insurance was terrible They lost everything and do not respond to phone calls

Didn't get test results from surgery for over a year until I threatened legal action.

Such an amazing clinic with a wonderful staff. yet that does you no good if there is no follow up after testing. Nothing was explained to me and no further testing was done. I had to call everyday for a week and a half just to have a nurse call with the results. This was a week and a half of being told the results were in but Dr. Shields had not looked at them yet. After my one appointment with Dr. shields I never heard from him again. The nurse that called me did not know my case. For such an amazing clinic that I traveled rather far for I expected a lot more from the doctor I was seeing.
