If all docs was like this man, wow what a better place to live. I have personally witnesses him making house calls to his patients. When u beep him if he is on his lunch break within 5 mins he will call u back. I had a Plano Fireman tell me i wish my doctor did that. Wish he would come back in business. U can talk to him and he will hear u out and then and only then u and him will come up with a plan that fits your ailment. Lonnie Barrett

My adult son is disabled and has received social security for both mental and physical disabilities for 8 years. Not understanding the consequences of his actions, he went to this doctor for a review of his condition. Dr. Shields spent less than 15 minutes with him, administered no tests, reviewed no records, and sought no consultation with the specialists who had diagnosed the disabling condition. Without any inquiry into what circumstances had changed or what treatment had occurred to heal a still obvious disabling condition, Dr. Shields took my son's word that he could now work and signed off on a form stating that he was no longer disabled. However, my son cannot hold a job and wasn't able to hold one after this jerk-knee judgement occurred. That single act cost my son months of litigation, thousands in legal fees that I had to pay, and threatened his only source of income, Social Security Disability. I should have sued this man.

Dr Shields is awesome! I have been going to him for years and highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable and willing to take the time with his patients. He explains things if you need that and cares about your well being. He has excellent bedside manner. He has helped me with many different things anything from a sinus infection to migraines.

For over 40 years, Dr. Shields and his staff have provided me, my family and many friends excellent care. Loving, caring attitude and expertise.
