Dr. Robert Meredith Shows, MD

Dr Shows is not a nice person; this carries over to his work. First of all he refuses to do any extra work. If you ask him to do just a little bit of work he may not do it at all. He is not very personable with his patients, as evident also with other comments here. He rushes through each patient encounter too fast and as a result leaves patients lacking care. Character is what we do when no one else is looking, it's who we really are as a person. Dr Shows is not explaining anything to patients; patients are not totally unknowing, they can compare a Doctor to another Doctor or other medical practitioners. A Doctor should be a people person, and he/she should care about people. "That which we desire for ourselves, to want it more for others is the definition of humility" (Dr Wayne Dyer)

I found Dr. Shows to be very professional. He correctly diagnosed an issue with my hand within thirty seconds of entering the exam room. He explained the issue to me in terms I could understand and answered all my questions. He made a referral to a specialist and four days later I am on the mend. I'd recommend Dr. Shows for his knowledge and professionalism.

Recently had a staph infection. I was told the two paces were spider bites and given antibiotics to treat said bites. I went to Dr. Shows, who lanced and drained the infected areas. It was instant relief and he put me on the right mess to treat a nasty case of staph infection. Hope I never have to go through that again but I will be visiting him if so!!

Very rude and unprofessional by all acounts.
