Dr. Robert Wilan Sickler, MD

Every appointment with Dr. Sickler and his staff has been very congenial. Every procedure that Dr. Sickler has performed on me has had good results and has reduced my pain. One needs to know that his responsibility is to not overdose someone on opioid medications. Follow his instructions and you will receive good results and be happy with his services!

Dr. Sickler was a very warm,caring, and humourous character. He made me feel at ease and was very respectful and especially to his staff. Whoever said he w as s rude to staff, obviously didn't want to know the whole situation. I found him n staff to be awesome.

Dr.Sickler had been my doctor for more than 20 years. He has always taken the time to listen to me. He has tried many avenues to get me out of pain. I had to change doctors because of insurance but when I could I went back to him. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Sickler was professional and even friendly initially but became increasingly unpleasant and the rotating staff became a point of concern. I was disappointed with my overall experience as his patient.

Dr. Sickler has great bedside manner he is caring about you and your health is concerned about your pain and I'm glad that he's my doctor

I don't have a problem with Dr. Sickler but his associate, Dr. Barbara Barnett. Dr. Sickler performed a lower back injection 10 days ago, and pain is still present. I called Dr. Barnett's office & spoke with her assistant, and when I told her my pain issue, she said that I was supposed to have a series of 3 injections - not just one, wasn't told this by Doctor. My follow up appointment was today (11-4), but pain was to severe to drive to Houston (we live in Woodville, TX). Barnett wouldn't schedule my next injection unless I came in (we're 2.5 hrs. away) - I told her to forget it

After seeing many other " pain managment" doctors , Dr. SIckler took the time to review my scans and gave me other options then just trying to push pills on me . After the 2 injections in my back i have been able to come off of 95 % of my pain meds and am up and living life again ... And his assistant ITZELL was always promt in answering any questions i had .

I have used this doctor for many years. He has always been very caring and he always has taken time to listen to and answer my questions. I have had injections done, some worked better than others. He has tried many different approaches with the injections. He also has tried many different medications trying to get me out of pain. We have finally found a medication that was not a narcotic to relieve my pain.I would recommend Dr. Sickler to any of my friends or family.

Dr.Sickler was very caring and took time answering my questions. I appreciated the fact that he gave me options not just suggest meds like so many other Pain Doctors to do. He also explained the procedure I was referred for in a way I could understand. His staff was very professional and caring as well. I have had 2 injections and can honestly say I'm pain free. Thank you Dr.Sickler !!!!!

Dr. Sickler listened to my problem and gave my options. He offered an injetcion and I am doing great afterward. I totally recommend this doctor.
