Doctor Skidmore is top shelf along with all his PA's and office staff! Nothing more to it!!

Had a large area on my chin removed for a biopsy. Dr. Skidmore carefully explained what he was going to do and why. He was assisted by an excellent PA and two students. Everyone was upbeat and the room was immaculate. Within minutes the operation was over. Although a large area was affected the procedure was not comfortable but it was certainly not painful. The staff gave me very precise instructions for caring for the wound and what I could expect as the anesthetic wore off. Hours after the procedure and into the next day I have experienced NO discomfort. I attribute this to the expertise of the staff and how quickly they accomplished the biopsy. Will certainly strongly recommend Dr. Skidmore to my family and friends.

I have been to Dr. Skidmore a few times but never see him, only one of his PA's or NP's. When I returned home after my last visit, one of his insurance people called me, very angry that I had not paid them for the visit when I knew I hadn't met my deductible yet. When I went to pay it, a different insurance person (they have tons) told me to wait until the EOB was received. When I received the EOB there was a charge for a pathology lab service when I had nothing biopsied. Watch your EOB's!

Impossible to get a follow up appointment. Tried 2 times and both times was put off by a male staff member who told me I could see nurse practitioner. Did not make any effort to accommodate my work schedule even though I was willing to book way out. Will be finding another office with a courteous, caring staff!

Very uplifing, positive and caring staff! Took away the 'fear' factor by being so personable. Have been for 3 visits and was taken back early every time....and once there it feels like you are the only patient in the office!

Dr. Skidmare does an outstanding job. He is very professional. His staff are very friendly. He and his staff make you feel like you are human, they do not rush you, they take the time to discuss any and all issues with you. They make your visit very comforting. I would refer him to anyone! kudos to Dr. Skidmore.

Dr. Skidmore is my 4th derm in 7.5 years. I was diagnosed with melanoma in 2003, the best thing that dr did was find it and refer me a great surgeon. Needless to say I am well educated on melanoma and know what to look for in a dr. Skidmore is gentle, thorough and on time. His staff is wonderful. I refer all my friends to him.

Dr. Skidmore and his team are simply the best. I had gone to several previous dermalogists, and each prior had failed to diagnose melanoma, the very first appt with Dr. Skidmore, he diagnosed it, they did the surgery, my scars are barely visable (the other drs. left huge scars) and to put it frank, I won't trust anyone else near me , thanks Dr. Skidmore for making skin cancer easier to deal with.

I was examined every six months for skin cancer but exams were very superficial. When Dr. Skidmore was running late one day his nurse was sent in to examine me and she was MUCH more thorough. She found a lesion which she biopsied after criticizing me for not having someone examine me regularly (Dr. Skidmore every six months was not enough?). A week later someone else from his office called to say I had malignant melanoma and it was more advanced than was ideal. After I arranged and had surgery I returned to schedule a melanoma followup appointment with Dr. Skidmore but was told Dr. Skidmore did not do followups and I would have to see his nurse. I saw only her for the 3 month followup and only after I complained did he agree to see me for my six month followup. He found nothing of concern but agreed to biopsy two lesions that I brought to his attention. Both were squamous cell carcinoma. I now see a different dermatologist!
