Dr. Robert Skotnicki, DO

My mom recently had open heart surgery to replace her aortic valve. During her hospitalization and follow up we interacted with at least 5-6 cardiologists. While she was In the hospital, we had no choice about which cardiologist saw her and the vast majority of them were awful. After she was released the surgeon recommended Dr. Skotnicki for follow up care. He is the first cardiologist who actually had a conversation with my mom as part of his assessment. He asked questions, listened and clearly explained mom's options for care during her recovery from open heart surgery. So glad we found him!

I have gone to several cardiologists, but none were as compassionate as Dr. Skotnicki. The staff in his office is just wonderful too. It you want to feel confident in the treatment you are receiving, he is definitely the doctor you should see.

Best Cardiologist I have ever had. Takes time with me, listens, explains everything in layman terms, and is very thorough at each visit and able to be in contact with questions etc. outside of office visit if needed.
