Dr. Smith attended University of South Florida in Tampa to earn his chemistry and biology degrees. He then continued his education at Emory University in Atlanta for his DDS. After graduation, Dr. Smith couldn't stop his passion for learning. He has completed surgical training for implants and bone grafts from the respected Misch Institute. In addition, Dr. Smith has studied full-mouth reconstruction, restorative and prosthetic dentistry, and general dentistry with Pankey, Dawson, and Michael Pecos. He is certified by the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and holds membership in the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Broward County Dental Association, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Since 1982, Dr. Smith has provided excellent dentistry to patients in the same area he grew up in. His office in Fort Lauderdale has been in business since 1986, and some of his patients have been with him for more than two decades. …Dr. Smith prides himself on providing good value in the form of dental work designed to last.
Sylvia, Dr. Smith's wife, works in the office, and the couple has one teen-aged son. In addition to loving his job, Dr. Smith also loves watching his son's sporting events and working out.
