Dr. Robert Wickert Snyder, MD

Dr. Bob Synder is the best ophthalmologist in the world! He is not only the most knowledgeable, skillful and experienced ophthalmologist and surgeon, but also a wonderful caring doctor. His office is highly efficient!

The wait time to see Dr. Snyder was unacceptable both times I went in for my appointment. I arrived 15 minutes ahead of appointment time and 1st time, waited over 45 minutes to finally get in to do the preliminary items and then another half hour to see the doctor. Second appointment, I waited 1 hour 15 minutes and then was told it would be even another 1/2 hour. I decided to take my business elsewhere as this was only my second visit and drove in from Sierra Vista. Did not want to be frustrated every time I went to see this opthamologist. Why do doctors allow overbooking of patients? Money? I do not know but this is not acceptable for patients. Our time is valuable also.

I first met Dr. Snyder about 18 years ago to have Lasix and that was a success and in the past few months we met again when he removed my cataracts and now I have basically 20/20 vision, no need for glasses. Not only is Dr. Snyder a skilled professional, he is a nice guy too and makes you feel like he really cares about you and is proud of his work.

I had narrowed down my choices for LASIK eye surgery doctors and chose Dr. Snyder because of his calm nature. I was not pressured in any form to have surgery. He came into the room, sat and listened to EVERY single question that I had, which was a lot. Before and during the surgery I was very nervous and he and his staff kept me calm the entire time. They treated me with respect on my follow up appointment as well. HIGHLY recommend this doctor to anyone considering LASIK. P.S. My eye sight is BETTER than it was with glasses or contacts.

I had my first visit with Dr. Snyder and was very pleased. The office staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient. It was quick to get an appointment, and my waiting time was minimal. The assistants were also professional and helpful, and no one seemed rushed. Dr. Snyder was professional, friendly, and very open to my questions. He seemed genuine in making certain I understood my diagnosis and treatment. While waiting for my eyes to reverse dilation, I overheard him interacting with the staff, and he was so kind, encouraging, and complimentary for their good work. I also heard his receptionist (Katy) making reminder phone calls to patients, and she was courteous and caring to each person. I would recommend him to everyone!
