He is the best and will be with you for the long haul which a lot of cancer treatment is. If he seems impatient, well, that's the way he is. He won't change. It can be a little off putting at the beginning. He's pretty good at fast analysis. In eleven years of caring for my husband we had some very rapid visits too and some really, really fast one sentence diagnoses that are most often right. If that's not what you want, you might not be a good match. But there is no better patient advocate and, when you need his time and expertise the most, he is there to give it.

I went for a consultation and felt as if I was imposing on his time . He responses were short and he acted as if he was bored with my visit. Because of my initial visit I am looking elsewhere for treatment.

Dr. Soiffer seems very intlelligent, professional and quite proficient in his field. It just seems as though his shoes are on fire and he can't wait to leave the examinig room. I hope I'm wrong.
