Robert A. Spence, MD

AFter being sent to the ER via my own PC, Dr. Spence was rude, did not perform any of the tests my doctor recommended, and treated me like I was some 18 yr old street person seeking drugs. I was shot over 6 yrs ago in AZ and my doctor was afraid that I had thrown a clot or a piece of shrapnel had loosened. Dr. Spence had no interest in what I, the patient, had to say, nor my documented medical history. This occurred last Friday and the problem has only worsened. I will NEVER recommend Wing Memorial Hospital again and have filed a formal complaint with both the AMA and Wing Memorial. Perhaps since Dr. Spence is spread between 3 hospitals in the valley-he's overburdened. But to ignore any "sudden onset" of symptoms, hand the patient 2 Benadryl and a cup of water for severe dehydration,and send them packing without any testing, well that is just outrite negligence. DO NO SEE THIS PHYSICIAN
